Analisis de Competencias

The Change Agent Challenge

The first step in understanding your results is to gain your own vision for being a change agent. See if you can answer these questions. You may like to write down your answers and compare them with a friend.

How do you know when someone is being culturally sensitive? What would you notice about them?

How does a truly great entrepreneur behave in your country? What impact does he or she have on others? What skills does this require? Is this different in other countries?

In your culture, how do you tell the difference between someone who says they are socially responsible, and someone who really is?

What are the habits of an active learner? How active are you?

Which of these characteristics is needed in order for you to achieve the things that are most important to you in life?

If you had to rank them in order of importance to you, which would come first? Do your friends know that’s important to you?

Questions to consider

These questions will help you think about your results. Then you may wish to write down the competencies you would most like to develop, and visit the ‘development’ pages for help in planning some practical ways you can achieve your own vision for the future.

Your greatest strengths

Looking at the critical competencies only, in which of the four areas do these scores suggest that you are strongest? Would you agree?

Can you think of an occasion or situation when you have used this capability? Did you know you were using this capability?

When is the next occasion you could use this strength? How will you know if you are using it well?

Is there a trusted person you could ask to observe you and give you feedback on what you did that really worked well, and how you could do even better?
What's holding you back?

Looking at the critical competencies only, in which of the four areas do these scores suggest that you are weakest?

What surprises you most about these results? Why are you surprised? Is there anyone you could share them with, to check your reaction?

In your weakest area (based on critical competencies), do you have any supporting competencies that are strong? What is it that enables you to be strong in these areas?

How could you use your supporting competency strengths to develop the critical competencies you need?
